About Bebington Lodge
More than sixty years of friendship
From our beginnings in Port Sunlight, Bebington Lodge has been shaped by friendship, fellowship and a strong connection to the Wirral. Founded in 1962, the Lodge spent its earliest years close to the Lady Lever Art Gallery before moving to Whitby in 1986.
That new home carried the Lodge through 34 memorable years, during which generations of members shared meetings, meals, social occasions and service to the wider community.
In 2020 the Lodge returned to Port Sunlight, establishing its present home at Hulme Hall in the heart of the village.
Today, members come from across the Wirral and beyond, meeting regularly from October to April and enjoying a varied programme of Lodge meetings, family events, guided visits, shooting and meals.
The buildings have changed over more than sixty years, but the welcome, friendship and sense of purpose have remained.

More than a meeting
Freemasonry is about friendship, camaraderie and giving back. From social evenings to charitable work, there’s always something happening.Bebington Lodge has held various social events over the years, these vary year to year but have included Ladies nights, Lodge weekends away, Clay Pigeon Shoot, Christmas carols, barbecues, Sunday lunches, Curry and pint night to name a few.
These social functions also help the lodge to raise funds for our charitable causes.
Bebington Lodge is very good at raising funds, but members only donate what they can afford and are never pressured to give.
New Wirral Masons into Bebington Lodge will be welcomed and encouraged, although we appreciate that in these days not everybody has the same time or skill set to devote to Masonry, all members will be helped to progress at the pace that is right for them in what ever position they may aspire to achieve within Bebington lodge, as said before this is a hobby.
